The Story
Markos Kandilis is a native Jersey Boy of Greek and Italian descent. The support of his family and community led him to an early entrance into the world of professional performance as a chorus member of the Metropolitan Opera House of New York City at the age of ten.
His performance abilities developed through numerous musical and theatrical productions during his formative years and at Westminster Choir College. He earned various accolades and leading roles, catching the attention of Royal Caribbean Productions, who cast him to perform as a Featured Singer, Vocal Captain, and Headliner on their renowned fleet of ships.
When not performing on stage or in the vocal booth, Markos hones his craft by pursuing training and education in various artistic fields from around the world. He’s an avid movement practitioner and language learner, giving him a grounded and global presence that he brings to every performance.
Markos currently lives in Zürich, Switzerland, though he regularly travels within Europe, the US, and beyond to perform and make memories with family and friends.
